SIM startup performance
Does anyone know of a way to reduce startup times in case the SIM server is restarted ? Currently I'm looking at approx. 30 minutes from the time I'm able to log in to the server console until the "checking http services" dialog box is replaced with the login prompt.

Re: SIM startup performance
That's way too long. If you ignore the desktop shortcut and just address HP SIM from the browser address line, does it respond faster?

Re: SIM startup performance
I haven't tested using the adressline on the server console, but if I try it from a client it takes the same time, i.e. all clients will gain access at the same time regardless of whether from a client or from the server itself, so I assume it's just the service that is taking its time in starting up.
Should maybe have mentioned that the server is an ML530 (first generation) with dual Xeon 800 Mhz CPU's and 3 GB RAM, so it may not be the fastest server we have, I have considered upgrading it since it's using 100% CPU when queries and tasks execute but we have not yet had time to do that.
