"Snapshot Comparison"

Is it possible to create a "Tool" that does a 'ls-l'-command, and then use the output in "Snapshot Comparison"?

Snapshot comparison is a special type of report comparing fields in the database. Your output wouldn't be part of the database, so a comparison wouldn't be possible.
