SIM vs ICE

Can anyone tell me the advantage of installing ICE instead of SIM since SIM is free? And has anyone install one of these on a VM?

ICE includes the agents that cost - e.g. PMP, VPM and VMM and is per server.
Both use HPSIM as the central management server. In both cases HPSIM is effectively free.

The D/L size for the bits.
You may always install ICE over SIM.

If you install in a VM the Remote Support Software Manager will not work as it will check to see if it was installed on a "ProLiant". Installing in a VM will limit how many server you can manage.
