SIM5.3 sp1 - monitor SSD in servers

Does anybody know if the 8.30 set of mibs handles alerts from solid state drives? I'm not able to find much information like if they set the SSD to use the same mibs as a regular spinning disk.

Basically we're looking to make our first purchase of these drives and want to be sure we can monitor the hardware. We don't want to assume anything, so any experience info would be helpful.
