SIM5.3 upgrade to 6.1 (should I step it up?)

Wondering if I should take 5.3 to 6.0 then 6.1 or just go directly to 6.1?

5.3 was solid.
6.0 has SNMP issues, and I couldn't get phone home or VCRM to work..


6.1... well... that's another story.

Go for 6.1, I did !
There are a lot of good new features which it comes with. There is supposedly a backup and restore toolset you can download for all your settings when doing an upgrade.
I personally do a full rebuild and add devices with either host files or IP ranges. We have over 2000 devices across a dozen domains and dozens of subnets so I have got it down to a fine art now. I also have another identical box on another site for DR purposes.
