SMI-S Access Denied Errors
We have an EVA 5000 as well as an MSA 1500 and haven't been able to get SIM (5.0 SP3) to recognize either of them.
Just built a new server running CommandView 4.1 and installed the SMI-S provider.
I tested SMI-S using the WBEMDISCO command as described in the whitepaper and I was suprised to see access denied errors.
I am assuming that these access denied errors could be part of the problem. I ran WBEMDISCO using a domain account which is a local admin and can launch CommandView just fine.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Here are the results of running WBEMDISCO against the server running Command View 4.1:
HOST = evaswma02
PORT = 5989
NAMESP = root
USER = ADMINUSER
PASSWD = *****
Connect to evaswma02 in namespace root with SSL=true
