SNMP and WBEM

I installed the HP System Management Homepage with Novell SUSE10, when I login to the SMH page it is empty, am I missing something?

Also I installed HP Proliant Support Pack and I tried to configure the SNMP, I  run the following commands:

/hpsim

/etc/init.d/hp-health start

/etc/init.d/hp-asrd start

rpm -Uhv hp-snmp-agents-8.5.0.17-18.sles10.i386.rpm

/sbin/hpsnmpconfig

/etc/init.d/hp-snmp-agents start

I can’t modify the /sbin/hpsnmpconfig file it won let me to type anything.

Can you install the WBEM for Novell SLES?

Re: SNMP and WBEM

Hi,

It looks like you have the SNMP agents installed. You should still be able to browse to the 'settings' tab on the SMH. From there you can edit the config file directly ;)

If my post was helpful please award me Kudos! or Points :)
