Not sure if posting this in correct place, but anyway.... my question is,
If I change the port SNMP and SNMP traps run on (say to 9998/9999) due to another service running on 161 will this work? I find that when I use SNMP as data source in SMH no data is shown, however it does work fine with WBEM. I need SNMP to be working if possible. I'm assuming that SMH won't work on SNMP with ports changed (least thats what I'm finding), is there a way to reconfigure it to work?
Thanks.

What is running on 161? That is the IANA assigned port for SNMP.

I can't remember the exact name of the service, but it's some OracleSNMP service. I'll check exact name later and repost. I have considered the fact that this maybe able to provide same services as the MS SNMP service, but I'd prefer not to touch it to be honest.
