Re: SNMP Event type - "(SNMP)"
If I have WBEM turned off in my global protocal settings, why would it still discover WBEM on the device? Does that setting prevent a server from being discovered as having WBEM or purely for receiving WBEM events?

Re: SNMP Event type - "(SNMP)"
anyways u have no WMI specified i m sure as wel as u didnt specify WBEM credential.
You can verify that by going on device system page and see "Product Description" ->Management Protocols; see WBEM wont be there.

Re: SNMP Event type - "(SNMP)"
I have verified that WBEM is turned off. On discovered systems, I can verify that for management protocols, WBEM does not show up thus confirming it is off. But why do the email notifications I receive from SIM5.2 always contain "(SNMP)" in the subject line while my SIM5.1 implementation does not do this. I am running the 7.90mibs package on my SIM5.1 system.
