SNMP OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.232.169.X ?
Hi,
I've installed the latest management agents on a DL380G2 running win2003 and have enabled snmp.
Walking the tree, I'm seeing:-
.1.3.6.1.4.1.232.169.1 = NULL
.1.3.6.1.4.1.232.169.2 = NULL
.1.3.6.1.4.1.232.169.3 = NULL
through to:-
.1.3.6.1.4.1.232.169.4294967295 = NULL
(I've not actually confirmed that it goes all the way to 32 bits, but it certainly goes beyond 24 bits)
I know .1.3.6.1.4.1.232 is enterprise.compaq but I've not been able to locate any information on what .169 signifies.. can anyone tell me what this is and should I really have hundreds of millions of NULL value OIDs in this tree?
Thanks,
Martin
