SNMP Set Error

Hello,

I am receiving the following when I try to clear the the logs within the Integrated Log section in Insight Manager:

An SMNP Set was attempted on a server that has sets disabled.

Both of the servers i am trying this on is Netware. Please help.

I do not know how to change SNMP config settings on Netware but you need to have a Read/Write Community name and the SNMP Sets enabled.
I would think these are set somewhere in a configuration file.
Maybe try the HPSIM documents page, there should be something about setting up Netware Servers.

To enable SNMP sets on a NetWare server you have to do this:
At the server console start cpqagin
Select "Configure Existing Management Agents".
Walk through the dialogs until you reach "Global Agent Configuration".
Here you have the option to enable or disable SNMP sets.
When you get back to the main menu the agents will restart.
