I am struggeling with following problem:

We are using HP SIM 5.2SP2 and I am trying to build a collection of servers with software version status: Unknown - VC Agent Not Configured. After having built this collection I am planning to schedule a daily Task to configure the servers in this collection same as a reference server.
I know I can sort servers manually and then select all to replicate settings from a reference server, but want to automate this.

Any suggestions?

Not sure that you can, but you can use the replicate the settings feature.

Pick a server that has the VC correctly configured and replicate that to all servers. It doesn't matter if you deploy to servers that are okay.

Select by the servers to replicate to by OS and you can include the reference pak as well.
