Status polling tasks pending
I have a SIM 4.2 SP2 setup.
When checking the scheduled tasks the default status polling tasks for servers and non servers always enter a status of polling and show as 0%.
I have used the MXEXEC utility to query the tasks and they show as start date of "01 January 1970 01:00:00 GMT". All other scheduled taks run OK apart from these two.
Has anyone else seen this or have a clue how to fix it?

Re: Status polling tasks pending
If you are not monitoring any Netware servers running the IPX protocol then the following should resolve the problem
From the Microsoft Services applet, locate and stop the HP Systems Insight Manager service.
Open \\Program Files\HP\Systems Insight Manager\config\globalsettings.props.
Locate the entry: "ipx_check_state"
Change the entry to: ipx_check_state=NOT
Add the following line to the file: JavaSnmpStack=true
Save the settings by clicking on File > Save.
Close the GLOBALSETTINGS.PROP file.
From the Microsoft Services applet, locate, stop, and then disable the SNMP Trap Service.
Restart the HP Systems Insight Manager service.
