Surveyor Service Query

Hi All,
Using HPSIM we're tracking Application failures and I'm seeing the Surveyor Service fails quite frequently.
Is this now replaced by the new HP Diagnostics Utility?
Can the Survey Program be safely removed?

I have been removing the Surveyor on all my servers. In fact, on some I HAD to because of problems with EMC SAN disks.

I have seen no problems with removing this (I never used it before anyways).

Hi,

I haven't been using the Survey Utility for anything, but frequently when working on tickets with HP techs they ask for the survey.txt file.

Steve, I agree, but it seems the detail in the new HP Diagnostics covers the detail they'd require.
