SW status shows '?' when new support packs in repository
Every time the VC Repository downloads new support pack updates, then monitored machines still look for the old pack. This cause all status to become shown as a '?'.
Is there any way to correct this automatically?
Right now I am going to each box and changing the VC agent configurations.
Thanks.

Re: SW status shows '?' when new support packs in repository
No, that shouldn't be the behavior at all. The only time the SW status column should change is when a new "Software Version Status Polling" task is executed, which is a weekly thing by default.
You shouldn't have to visit each system; see Configure --> Replicate Agent Settings.

Re: SW status shows '?' when new support packs in repository
Thanks. Section I missed and have not played with yet. I sent out the reference change and it updated them all.
But, yes, they did show up the moment as question marks even while not running polling task. Could removel of the old support pack it referenced have caused that?
Saved me from going through the whole lot.

Re: SW status shows '?' when new support packs in repository
Yes, if you removed the Support Pack that they were referencing, that could cause that behavior, but it shouldn't update the status in hpSIM until the polling task was run.
