System Management Homepage not working on ESX Server 3.5

When connecting to the SMH on HP branded ESX 3.5 server, the web page comes up, but I get an error that says 'A timeout occured while loading data for the HP System Management Hoempage which may result in missing or incomplete information'. No component data is visible in the page at all.

I'm also receiving this error we're insalling on the new BL495. This is error not occurring on my DL385 stand alone servers.

Which HBA's are using? have you installed the relevant hba livraries as well?

I have a similar issue. Whenever I try to click on the Health status link on some of my servers ESX 3.5 running sim agent version 8.1.1 for esx 3.x. I get an error message that reads "There is no System Management Home Page " I can successfully browse to the page using https://servername:2381.

Has anyone seen this before? And have you ben able to correct it.

I eventually called HP about this. I had to download the latest version of the agents and install them. After I did this, it worked. Funny that the version that gets installed out of the box does not work...
