System Management Homepage timeouts ?
I'm starting to get timeouts on some servers SMH, they are unable to display all items and will display kind of "randomly" much data for each refresh, while also showing this log entry (and a popup saying that a timeout occurred and to check the logs)
ERROR LOG (severity=2) Mon Aug 29 09:01:13 2005
UI Timeout -- Nav Load Time: 92s [breakdown: hmanics(HP NIC Agent): 0s || hmaserv(HP Server Agent): 1s || vcagent(HP Version Control Agent): 91s || webagent(HP Foundation Agent): 0s || elm(backwards compatibility): 0s]

Re: System Management Homepage timeouts ?
Based on your log it looks like the VCA agent is taking too long to respond. Is the Version Control Agent configured to properly point to a Version Control Repository Manager? If not it needs to be configured - if it is configured you may want to be sure that the server running the VCRM is accessible from the system running the VCA, in other words are there any firewalls or other possible obstacles between the two systems?

Re: System Management Homepage timeouts ?
Lots of thanks for the KB article, and yes it seems its the VCA that's the problem, stopping the service and reloading the webpage works like a dream. :)
