System Management Homepage v2.0 - Local Server Certificate

Good day,

Looking for a way to automate/script a process to get/generate all the PKCS#10 certificate request on all our servers.

I am guessing that it wont be as easy as cert_request.xml & import_cert.xml for the ILO.

OS Windows 2003
PSP 7.30

Thanks in advance for any info

Re: System Management Homepage v2.0 - Local Server Certificate

Are you trying to get the SMH certificate to import into SIM for enabling the trust between the CMS and the Managed nodes? If yes, there is a tool available in SIM itself which is very easy to use. Go to Configure->Configue or repair agents and then run the task after enabling the "Trust By Certificate" option.

Note: This tool will copy the SIM certificate on to the Managed node and then enable the trust (Which basically is a one way trust). If you want to enable the two way trust (i.e., If you have set Options-> Security->Certificates->Trusted Certificates->Require Trusted certificate option) then you'll have to run the above mentioned tool and then carry out the painful job of importing all the managed node's SMH certificate and import into SIM server.
