System Management Homepage
Hello,
I have recently installed SIM and discovered a number of servers without the Insight Management Agent or the System Management Homepage. I have a problem with a particular HP RX2660 box in that the System Management hompage does not display the various subsystems as my ProLiant servers do. I have Downloaded and installed the latest version of the SMH and also the Insight Management Agent as well with no improvement.

Re: System Management Homepage
The SMH relies on the agents which in turn rely on some of the drivers.
It's better to install the entire PSP rather than just the SMH.
You can start your search for the appropriate PSP at:

Re: System Management Homepage
What is the HP SIM you are installing ?
Do you install the following ?
http://h18013.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/hpsim/dl_hpux.html#managed
SMI-S Providers to Support Inventory and Fault Management for Storage
Storage Management and
SMI-S Providers
Info/Download
HP SIM uses the Storage Management Initiative Specification (SMI-S) standard to discover and manage the storage systems it supports. You must have a storage system's SMI-S provider installed and configured in order for HP SIM to discover it

Re: System Management Homepage
Thanks for your replies. I managed to solve the problem by installing and configuring SNMP. This in conjuction with the HP Insight Management Agent and the Systems Management Homepage is all that was needed.
