Systems listed as IP address - fixed reverse lookup, now what?
I have a number of systems in SIM 4.1 that are listed as IP address only. I have fixed the reverse DNS lookup for these systems but how to I make them appear as the server name now? Do I wait a while for SIM to automatically pick it up? I attempted a "identify system" under Options, discovery but that didn't work. Do I need to remove the system and rediscover?

Re: Systems listed as IP address - fixed reverse lookup, now what?
I've had this consistently work:
1) Remove the entry from SIM.
2) Verify forward and reverse DNS looks from the command-line on the SIM server i.e. outside of SIM.
3) Discover the server.

Re: Systems listed as IP address - fixed reverse lookup, now what?
It turns out I just needed to do a manual discovery of the server name. No need to delete the entry out of SIM.
