Tape Drive Status Change
Hi All,
I hope someone here can shed some light on my problem?
Over the last few days I have been getting some critical events. Details are as follows:
Description:
Tape Drive Status Change. The Storage Agent has detected a change in the status of a tape drive. The current physical drive status is indicated in the cpqTapePhyDrvStatus variable.
Anyone have any idea what this is? See also attachment for more detail....

Re: Tape Drive Status Change
Unfortunately the attachment was pretty much unreadable.
You might want to just cut 'n' paste some of the relevent text.

Re: Tape Drive Status Change
Hi Rob,
Thaks for that - actually my manager had a look at it and he thinks the servermay need a reboot. It seems the tape drive goes offline intermitentley.
Thanks,
Magida
