Tomcat server and SBS2003
Hi,
I am Gathering information prior to installing HP SIM 4.1 on my companny's SBServer2003 on a Compaq DL360 (G3). It is running Sharepoint services and was wondering would installing SIM 4.1 with it's TOMCAT webserver affect our users from accessing the Sharepoint site? Would I find it difficult to get these two to behave properly?
TIA....Joel

Re: Tomcat server and SBS2003
There shouldn't be any interaction - our web server runs on port 280 (and 500000) and can run side-by-side with plenty of other web servers.
I wouldn't anticipate there being any issues.

Dude, we've been totally misled by our album covers!

Re: Tomcat server and SBS2003
you could have. I Had a working SIM4.1 Win2003) enviromen when I installed IIS6 and SUS. acording to everybody this should work but after this. something is FUBAR with the modules. i get all the nice yes/no popups but after that nothing happends the site just says " Please wait. Checking for a java Plu in." and in the corner so does it say "Applet com.hp.mx.portal.applet.testApplet started" and then nothing not a movement i will post a Q for this problem. som for you best of luck. and the IIS and SUS just workes fine.
