Notification of Disk Thresholds

Hi,

We are new to HPSIM v4.1, and would like to get an email when disk thresholds reach the set critical level. We have set the thresolds ok, how do we set up an event to get an email? Looked in new tasks but cannot see an area to pick up this schueduled task.

Look under Options --> Automatic Event Handling --> New Event Handler and the wizard will prompt you through...

First set up the E-mail gateway, under Options / Events / Automatic Events Handling /E-mail
Then set up a New Task, as above but select the New Task setting.
In the Select Events, change the Where box to Event Category and then Select Proliant Threshold Events.
Leave it at all
Alternatively you could just keep the category at Severity and set up a couple of Event Tasks, one for major and one for critical. Once you're happy with that you could refine them.
