Trap destination to be set to a cluster instance of HP SIM on Windows 2003
I have a System Type of Server and a System Subtype of Proliant. When I run the Configure or Repair Agent against a target, in the trap destination it is putting in the physical server name that is running HP SIM and not the cluster instance name. We have two servers in the cluster, SIM1 and SIM2 and the cluster instance name of HPSIM, it is putting in SIM1 in the trap destination instead of HPSIM.
How do I set the trap destination to be the cluste instance name?

Re: Trap destination to be set to a cluster instance of HP SIM on Windows 2003
HP SIM isn't "cluster aware" so it is using what it's best knowledge about itself is when using CRA. If you want to set it to something else like the cluster instance, once you have trusts working fine after CRA, you'll be able to use 'Replicate Agent Settings...' to reproduce the configuration of a system that has it the way your want it...

The response was appropriate.
