Trusted Mode Breaks SIM 4.2 on 11.23

Greetings to all.

I recently installed SIM 4.2 on 11.23. I didn't put the machine in trusted mode immediately (would have been a better method).

I installed SIM, got it running normally and then decided to invoke trusted mode (via SAM).

SIM broke immediately... more precisely postgres stopped functioning properly. I can't find a list of every action taken during the conversion... so it's a bit tricky to troubleshoot. Any ideas?
