Turning Off Unreachable Events, Ignoring Unused Powersupplies
Hello,
Is there a setting within HPSIM to allow me to turn office notifications of unreachable servers? I'd also like to it to ignore my servers with two powersupplies (or NICs) and only one of them plugged in.

Re: Turning Off Unreachable Events, Ignoring Unused Powersupplies
Not as such.
You can suspend or disable monitoring of a server. You can also time filter when an automatic event handling task will do something which you can do for scheduled outages.
You can also use the HP Agent GUI (via Control Panel) to remove some of the sub-agents which I do for the ILO reporting.
With NIC's I disable the unused NIC which also stops that reporting as an error. Not sure how you'd do that with dual power supplies though.

Re: Turning Off Unreachable Events, Ignoring Unused Powersupplies
For servers with dual Power Supplies and only one plugged in, just back out the unused power supply from the backplane. Maybe label it as good/spare. On the unused Nic you could also install a loopback plug.
