Unable to clear or delete "uncleared events"

I'm unable to clear or delete my SIM events. Please help.

All you need to do is scrap the machine in SIM and rediscover it,it should resolve you re trouble!

It seems the trouble in the database,i had the same appear once in a wile.

Is it *any* uncleared events, or a specific one?

There are some that you cannot delete (like Discovery events or some Warnings). Otherwise, I have noticed a bug in SIM 5.3 that will sometimes not allow you to clear the event that is topmost in a summary list. In this case, you can click on the machine's name on the event, then clear it from that Event list.

Finally, when all else fails, there is the extreme "solution" of deleting the machine itself from the system, although that would have to be last resort and not something I've come across any time recently.

It not because it 5.3, i have this trouble under 5.2 sp2.

I figured out my problem. Under user and Authorizations, select Toolboxes / Monitor Tools. Move all of the events over under Toolbox contents. Basically I didn't have rights to delete the events. Thanks for the replies.
