Unable to integrate HP SIM 7.2 with SNMPv2 host

All,

 

Can anybody advise if HP SIM can talk to the managed system via SNMPv2? And also if anybody knows how to configure the HP SNMP agents on Linux with SNMPv2. 

 

I couldn't find any documentation related to v2 so far. One thing that I have tested is that when I used trap2sink, the system don't seem to send out any trap when I unplugged any of the network cables. I've used wireshark on the HP SIM side to check for any snmp packages and couldn't find any.

 

Appreciate any input and suggestion.
