Unknown Software Status - No Trust (Even when a trust is established)
I have had this problem before, and I really can't figure out what the deal is. I clearly have a trust relationship established.... why isn't it working?
Thanks,
Francis

Re: Unknown Software Status - No Trust (Even when a trust is established)
If you click on the green checkmark in the HW column of the server list it should open up the system management home page for that server. If it does so without requiring you to login then the trust relationship is properly setup.
Go to Options -->Status Polling --> Software Status Polling and run a software status poll and the SW column should reflect the correct status. This assumes that the VCA on the server is properly configured to point to a VCRM.

Re: Unknown Software Status - No Trust (Even when a trust is established)
But... it seems that I truly do not have a trust relationship established like I thought I did. I followed your advice, and sure enough, I don't have to log into any of the servers on my list that are working correctly to get to the Management Homepage.
Yet, I do not understand why there is no trust. I tried "trust all" and "trust by name" and both are not establishing a trust relationship with this particular machine.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Francis

Re: Unknown Software Status - No Trust (Even when a trust is established)
Once in every few accesses of the System Management Homepage, everything will be blank. None of the usually colorful boxes detailing hardware information appears, and the page is largely blank. Images are absent, and the only thing that shows up is the frame on the left side of the page.
Of course... a picture will do a world of good here. Please see my attached file.
I think this might have something to do with my problem. Anyone?
Thanks!

Re: Unknown Software Status - No Trust (Even when a trust is established)
As much as I was reluctant to do so, I decidede that the only thing I hadn't tried up to this point was removing the system from the All Systems list, and re-adding it, along with it's Management Processor.
Voila! Works like a charm now, showing all green.
Hooray!
Thanks for everyone's help and suggestions. I am closing this thread now.
