Unmanaged System Type for W2K servers in Workgroup
I have some W2K servers (in a Workgroup, not join any domain) show with Unmanaged System type. I can't get their HW infomation either. However all my servers in a domain with the same SNMP settings show correct Server type and hardware information. How can I correctly setup those serves in a workgroup?
Thanks for your help.

Re: Unmanaged System Type for W2K servers in Workgroup
Greetings. One thing that I noticed on the systems that came up with "Unmanaged" was due to the system in question not having the Proper Web Based Management Protocol passwords not set correctly or at all (this was my case) for Administrator, Operator, or User. I copied over a good and configured CPQHMMD.acl file to the server, restarted the HP/Compaq services and after daily identification the issue went away.
