Unreachable Events when Automitc update is running
Hi!
Our HPSIM notice that ALL systems are unavailable when the automatic update task from windows is running. Can anybody explain me why?
The HPSIM runs on a W2k3STD onto a BL25p.
Thanx for help.
Kind Regards
Alen Ahja

Re: Unreachable Events when Automitc update is running
Perhaps the network is being saturated?
Maybe try starting a manual ping session and look at what kind of lag or dropped packets you have.

Re: Unreachable Events when Automitc update is running
There won't be a network problem.
PING times are normal.
Any idea? It's every day at 3 AM, where the HPSIM reprts that Systems were unavailable but there aren't!

Re: Unreachable Events when Automitc update is running
Problem was not Windows Update Service.
It was a misconfiguration with the Spanning-Tree-Protocol.
