Updating PSPs status 500 error
I tried to use HP SIM to update the PSP on a server. I went to the Tools menu...Deploy...deploy firmware...install software and firmware. I then selected PSP 7.60a from the component list. It failed almost immediately with error HTTP status 500: Be sure system is fully powered and the agent is running. Does anyone know what the problem is? The server is turned on and the VCA is running. Thanks.

Re: Updating PSPs status 500 error
Hi,
I hope u didn't configured and pointed your VCA to the VCRM. that should be the problem.
Check for the target Agent (SMH) is trusting SIM by any means. If not, establish the trust relationship between SMH and SIM.
Hope you might gotthe answer.

Re: Updating PSPs status 500 error
That is the way you would deploy a PSP to a server that has no agents etc. installed.
You can try running setup.exe from the PSP itself, this starts the Remote Deployment Console and you can point it to any remote server you want.
Also, if you've not done so already you can use this utility to configure the agents with Trust Certificates etc.
