Upgrade 4.1 to 4.2

I try to upgrade from 4.1 to 4.2 as a local administrator. I use the local MSDE. I always get the message „HP SIM was unable to connect to the specified database server. This error may be caused by a previously uninstalled SQL Server, insufficient credentials or insufficient disk space”. What is wrong, there is enough disk space and I am logged in as an administra
