Upgrading HP System Insight Manager OS to W2K3

I'm currently running HP System Insight Manager on Windows 2000 SP4 with SQL Server 2000 installed. I'm planning on upgrading the OS to W2K3.
Are there any pre-requisites or best practices that need to be completed before I upgrade the OS on server?

Ensure you make a backup first. If you install the WS03SP1 firewall, you're going to have to open up some ports for communication.
