UPS Management in HPSIM 4.2
Hi all,
We use HP SIM to manage our servers and would like to manage server shutdowns for servers on a UPS.
We have many APC UPS's in the organisation and wondered what the best way is to manage this. Does anyone manage their UPS's in this way?
We need to be able to shutdown a server if a UPS has failed to avoid it just being switched off when the power runs out.
I downloaded HP Powermanager but this only manages HP UPS attached servers.
I would be very grateful for any help you could give.
Best regards,
Tony

Re: UPS Management in HPSIM 4.2
I suggest you probably want to use APC's PowerChute.
