UPS with HP SIM 5.1
I have installed SIM5.1 and I also want to monitor the UPS.
Should the SIM 5.1 can monitor the HP R3000h and R3000 ?
If not, how can I monitor and use which tool?
Thanks

Re: UPS with HP SIM 5.1
You'd need to configure SNMP on the UPS just like you would for a server.
This would include both allowing SNMP Access from HPSIM as well as setting a trap destination, again the HPSIM Server.
Not sure if they're included by default, but you may need to load the MIBs into HPSIM to decode any SNMP Traps sent. See mxmib and mcompile commands.
You may also need to add the device manually into HPSIM using the Options -> Manage System Types functionality.
