VCA not detected in SIM

i seem to have an issue with a lot of my servers in SIM were it say's it can not see a version control agent on the server or there is not trust set up.

and in all situations this is not true, i have a trust between the servers, were the SIM cert is imported on to the servers and i can get single sign on. and the agent is installed and working

anyone got any ideas were i can start looking again

what is the VCA version used in all the servers,
