VCA on VMWare ESX 2.1.2

VCA on VMWare ESX 2.1.2

I am currently running a ML570 with VMWare ESX 2.1.2 which I believe runs off Linux RedHat 7.2 . HPSIM is running on a 2k3server. I am trying to get the VCA to run on the linux box, it appears to install but it is still not getting picked up in HPSIM4.1 I'm not positive that I have the correct rpm for the VCA. Could someone provide me with some info and also direct me to the correct RPM for this application. The one I tried is hpvca-2.0.7-26.linux.i386.rpm.

VCA is not currently supported for VMWare ESX. The ESX service console is actually "Embedded Linux" and although based on RedHat, it is not under the same revision controls. Only specific versions and components of the ProLiant Support Pack are certified with ESX, so don't expect updates as frequently as you might for Linux.
