VCA Reporting "HP Integrated Lights-Out" version wrongly
Trying to install the firmware again gives the following in the logs:
"The software is installed and up to date. The installation process does
not need to continue, however, you may still install the software."
I now have around 10 servers with the same problem. Other servers have upgraded fine.
Has anyone else experience this problem?
Many thanks,
Richard

Re: VCA Reporting "HP Integrated Lights-Out" version wrongly
I've tried pushing the update through the Remote Deployment Utility and get the same errors.

Re: VCA Reporting "HP Integrated Lights-Out" version wrongly
You could see it from your iLO SYSTEM STATUS page or also from your VC agent page. Tells you what is installed and the latest available.

Re: VCA Reporting "HP Integrated Lights-Out" version wrongly
My problem is that the VC Agent is reporting that the version is outdated - even after installing the update, rebooting, and trying to update again!
Version is 1.84 and problem servers all appear to be ProLiant DL380 G3.
How do I get to the "iLO SYSTEM STATUS" page?
Thanks

Re: VCA Reporting "HP Integrated Lights-Out" version wrongly
Have you set up proper SNMP settings in ILO?
I have the follwoing settings and its reporting correctly for me.
Enable iLO SNMP Alerts No
Forward Insight Manager Agent SNMP Alerts No
Enable SNMP Pass-thru Yes
Enable p-Class Alert Forwarding Yes
Insight Manager Web Agent URL: --blank-- :2301
Data Return Enabled
Hope this helps.
