VCRM: A repository update has occurred

Having perpetual problems with VCRM (2.1) automatic updates. The error (Event Data) is as follows:

VCRM log entry: https://HOSMANAGER:2381/vcrepository/log?entryId=VCRM1213268746
Error for file: cp001445.exe
Error code: 12003
An extended error was returned from the server.550 /pub/products/servers/supportsoftware/cp001001-001500/cp001445.exe: No such file or directory.

Error for file: cp001932.exe
Error code: 12003
An extended error was returned from the server.550 /pub/products/servers/supportsoftware/cp001501-002000/cp001932.exe: No such file or directory.

Error for file: cp001953.exe
Error code: 12003
An extended error was returned from the server.550 /pub/products/servers/supportsoftware/cp001501-002000/cp001953.exe: No such file or directory.

When I manually FTP (from the management server and SIM service account) to that location, the files do not exist. I've deleted the catalog files and retried the auto-updates. Nothing I have tried has any effect.

Thanks.

Re: VCRM: A repository update has occurred

I may have found a workaround but don't know if it is a good one. I created empty files in the repository directory to coincide with the ones it was trying to retrieve. Then I forced an automatic update, and there were no complaints.

I don't know if there will be other side effects to having those empty files there. I would enjoy hearing from someone else in a similar situation.
