VCRM with http instead of ftp?

Hi,

our proxy doesn't allow ftp access to the outside world, therefor the update of the VCRM doesn't work. Is there a way to get the updates via http?

No, the files are hosted at ftp://ftp.compaq.com.

But is it posible to include on XML conect file the ftp user and password in the form:

ftp://user:password@ftpsite.com

You can alway download and unpack a SPP by hand. Download the SPP unpack the package to the VCRM directory and the VCRM will show the baseline. Then you should disable the autodownload option.

Hi tion , but I am searching to include this option ftp  user+passsword  on some  hp configuration file if it is posible
