Version Control Agent on SuSE Linux only shows itself

I have the same problem as an earlier thread with the same subject. I'm running SuSE Linux with PSP 7.3, and the VC Agent can only see itself.

The VCAgent periodcally logs a message saying that the ProLiant Insight agents are not running, but they indeed are. How do I disabuse it of the notion that they're not running?

Note that there *is* a rwcommunity declared in /etc/snmpd.conf. I even made a link from /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf to /etc/snmpd.conf, since the string /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf occurs in the binary, but /etc/snmpd.conf does not. But that didn't help.

Re: Version Control Agent on SuSE Linux only shows itself

The problem can be solved by using the psp 7.40a or 7.11a. I did not check the 7.20 but had the same problem with 7.30.

Installing PSP 7.40A made it work!
