Version Control Repository - trust problem

Hi - I've been fighting this for the past week or more. When I try going to the look at the Version Control Repository under Options it gives me the following error:

"Error retrieving catalog. Be sure a trust relationship is established with the repository device."

I have the option to "configure" and I've got it correctly downloading to a local drive but it continues to show that the default VCR is not trusted.

The Version Control Repository sits on the same box as our HPSIM. There shouldn't be a trust issue as far as I can tell. How best can I proceed?

Many Thanks...jw

Re: Version Control Repository - trust problem

Are you trusting by certificate or by servername?

Re: Version Control Repository - trust problem

I'm very new to this so I'm not even sure how to define how I'm trusting.

Re: Version Control Repository - trust problem

go to the device homepage http://devicename:2301

then click on the settings tab. Under HTTP server, click on options. scroll down the list until you see trust mode. if you're on an internal network I would just do trust by name and put in the SIM servername in there in FQDN meaning servername.blah.com. then clik on save configurations. Or yu can trust by certificates. Personally I saw no need for me to use trust by certificates in my environment so I'm doing a trust by name.
