VMM causing excessive logon/logoff events in ESX

Hi all,

After installing VMM, our ESX servers were recording logon/logoff events (for root@127.0.0.1) about every 10 seconds. I finally uninstalled VMM because these were crowding all other event messages out of the log files. Is this normal behavior, or indicative of a misconfiguration?
