VMM Service Fails To Start
Hello.
When I installed Virtual Machine Management Pack. It was working fine. But i've noticed that after a few reboots or so, the service fails to start.
When Windows starts up it says a service has failed to start.
So i checked the services and the Virtual Machine Management Service fails to start.
BUT the Virtual Machine Management Web Service starts normally.
I installed VMM via a domain account and it was working before. I even tried rechanging log-in credentials to local system account but still fails to start.
the error message is something like: "it started then stopped because it had nothing to do".
So i went about reinstalling it and having to reconfigure my VM hosts. All worked well. then after i rebooted several times (i had to reboot because i was installing new programs), the service fails again.
My configuration is this:
DL385 as my CMS running Windows 2K3 Enterprise Edition.
Agents at are 7.30
I used the Management CD version 7.30 so SIM 4.2 SP2 and the other plugin patches are installed too.
Any help? I don't want to keep reinstalling hte service everytime this happens. Thanks.
