vmware esx agents 7.1.2

I'm trying to establish the trust by certificate with ESX agents 7.1.2. I try to get or import the certification manually and it says the certificate has expired. I'm using the same cert across many other windows servers without problems. It's a new install so the cert isn't expired. Anyone else have this issue?

Check your system clocks on both systems. They may appear to be in sync, and if so, check that they have the timezones set correctly.

Correct - big difference between the system clock and the hardware clock. ran "ntpdate ntpserver.com" and then ran "clock --systohc"
