VMware SIM agent uninstall automation 811 to 820
I'm in the process of upgrading to SIM 2.0 but before I can do that I have to unstall Ver. 811. Is there an inputfile/silient mode option for "install811.sh --uninstall"? It has questions I need to respond to (Y/N) before it completes. Is there a mechanish I can script this from start to finish?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: VMware SIM agent uninstall automation 811 to 820
It looks like you're referring to the HP Agents here.
If so, there is a silent install option. You need to edit a config file that is then used to populate SNMP etc. The details are in the README file included with the release.
Note that 8.20 needs a pre-installation script run that requires a reboot of the ESX Host Server. So a bigger outage than normal is required.

Re: VMware SIM agent uninstall automation 811 to 820
The update will remove previous versions it detects. So just run the install option from the 820 directory.
