VPM installation - Radia error

Hi Guys

I am running Win2003 and downloaded the new VPM, but get "ztoptask" error when installing the radia component. I attached the logfiles, if someone can maybe have a look at it and give me their thoughts. Strange thing though, during the installation when in finishes the scanner component the install hangs, when I end task the nvdkit.exe task, it does not end task and starts installing further until it gives the RCS installation failed.

Re: VPM installation - Radia error

If you kill nvdkit, the rest of Radia tries to install. It will fail the radia install and back out the VPM install when it notices that part of the install did not complete.

We noticed that you are installing as domain administrator. Do you have privilege to install the service? The account you are using looks like it might not have enough privileges.

Other options:
Have you installed VPM on this system before? It sounds like you had a previous failed install that left the machine in a bad state.

What version of HP SIM are you running?

What other applications are you running on this system, specifically other applications that would use SQL server?

Do you have another applications using port 3466?

Do you have anything in the NT event log that pertain to "STAT WSI" or "Radia"?

Re: VPM installation - Radia error

Could you also provide details about:

Hardware Configuration (memory, cpu, disk, etc)

Network Configuration (multihomed nic, nic teaming, dhcp or fixed, domain controller, dns server, wins server...etc)
