VPM Login Problem after password change
Hi All,
I've recently changed one of our admin passwords. This is the account / password used for WBEM, VPM, SSH etc. Since then I cannot get VPM to perform a scan.
I can set up and edit a task which indicates some communication with VPM. I then schedule the task to just scan the VPM/HPSIM Server and it fails with a login problem.
I've set and reset the new password on:
SSH Service, VPM GUI, WBEM Global Properties. I've tried using system properties as well for the HPSIM Server.
Where else is the password likely to be maintained?
All Services that use this account have been updated and restarted. I've not rebooted the box yet...

Re: VPM Login Problem after password change
The VPM Credentials Utility shoudl be used in this instance.
On the VPM server, Start -> Vulnerability and Patch management Pack -> Change VPM Credentials

Re: VPM Login Problem after password change
I've done that, that's what I meant by the VPM GUI above. It does seem to have changed the password because when I rerun the utility the "old" password is the new one. But it's like the old credentials are still being picked up.

Re: VPM Login Problem after password change
A reboot fixed the problem. I'm not sure where or how but it looks as though some details were cached somewhere.
