VPN STAT Scanner problem

VPN STAT Scanner problem

We have run a scan for MS Advisorys on a Window 2000 SP4 box, We have then run a patch fix based on scan and installed the MS0x-xx patches required and rebooted. We have then re-run the scan and it reports still 11 critical patches required. It seems that the STAT scanner is still reporting Not Applicable patches ( Due to version of xxx file is later than required ). Is this a problem with how the STAT scanner works compared to the RADIA patch agent? As this is currently giving us false reports ie the 11 patches are not required for this server but the report says we still need em?

Thanks

Re: VPN STAT Scanner problem

Have you downloaded that latest patches for Windows 2000 SP4?

What are the 11 patches?

Re: VPN STAT Scanner problem

Yes all available patches, these have all been applied via the Radia Patch agent most succeed with success the remaining 11 report warnings due to a newer version of xxx.dll than required. When viewing the patch status via the Radia intergration server this server shows all the patches applied that can be applied. when the STAT scans the machine again it still reports back the 11 warning patches from earlier as still required and marks them as critical still. Even if i download the patch manually from MS and install Manually the stat scanner reports the patch as still required.

Thanks

Re: VPN STAT Scanner problem

Can you give the list of 11 patches so that I can ask Harris about this?

Re: VPN STAT Scanner problem

This is from a 2K3 SP1 box so the problem is not just 2000

Thanks
